Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,310 meters)

As your plane descends, your eyes will light up with joy at the sight of snow-covered Himalayan peaks. Welcome to Nepal!

Upon arrival at the airport, our tour representative will meet and transfer you to your hotel in Kathmandu.

Rest of the day:

• Take a rest in your hotel
• Take a short walk around if you’re not too tired

Optional: Try some local Nepali food for dinner

Day 2: Explore Kathmandu’s Cultural Sites

After breakfast at your hotel, your guide and private car will pick you up for a full day of cultural exploration in the capital city.

Today you’ll visit:

Swoyambhunath (Monkey Temple)
A Buddhist stupa on a hill offering stunning city views. See prayer flags, spinning wheels, and lots of monkeys.

Boudhanath Stupa
One of the largest stupas in the world, surrounded by monasteries and shops. It's a spiritual hub for Tibetan Buddhism.

Pashupatinath Temple
An iconic Hindu temple by the river. You may witness traditional rituals or cremation ceremonies on the riverbank.

Kathmandu Durbar Square
A UNESCO World Heritage site filled with ancient temples, palaces, and home to the "Living Goddess" (Kumari).

Evening: Return to your hotel and relax.

Day 3: Drive to Pokhara (Around 6–7 hours)

After an early breakfast, begin your scenic drive to Pokhara—about 200 km west of Kathmandu—passing through hills, rivers, and villages.

What to expect:

• Picturesque views along Trishuli and Marsyangdi rivers
• Optional stops for lunch or photos
• Arrival in Pokhara by afternoon

Evening: Stroll around Lakeside – a lively area with cafes, restaurants, and shops.

Day 4: Sunrise View, Boating & Peace Pagoda Visit

Time for an early start! Travel to Sarangkot, a hilltop viewpoint about 30 minutes from Pokhara.

Morning Highlights:

• Watch sunrise over Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, and Machhapuchhre (Fishtail)
• Return to hotel for breakfast

Midday Activity:

• Boat ride on Phewa Lake with views of mountain reflections

Then either:

• Hike to World Peace Pagoda (1.5-hour moderate hike), or
• Drive most of the way and walk a short distance

The Peace Pagoda is a white Buddhist stupa with panoramic views of the lake, city, and mountains.

Evening: Free time to explore Lakeside Street.

Overnight in Pokhara

Day 5: Drive to Chitwan National Park (4–5 hours)

After breakfast, head to Chitwan – Nepal’s famous wildlife reserve.

Upon arrival:

• Check into your lodge/resort
• Lunch served at the property

If time allows: Go for a nature walk or enjoy sunset views by the river

Day 6: Full Day of Jungle Activities in Chitwan

Time to explore the jungle!

Morning Activities:

• Canoe ride on Rapti River – Spot birds and crocodiles (marsh mugger & gharial)
• Jungle walk – Learn about the forest with a naturalist guide
• Visit Elephant Bathing Center – Watch or help elephants bathe in the river

Afternoon:

• Jeep Safari in the national park

Possible sightings: Rhinos, deer, monkeys, boars, and with luck – bears, leopards, or even tigers

Evening:

• Relax by the river at sunset
• Watch a traditional Tharu cultural dance show

Overnight in Chitwan

Day 7: Return to Kathmandu (5–6 hours)

After breakfast, visit the Elephant Breeding Center. Then begin your return journey to Kathmandu via private vehicle or tourist bus.

Evening: Arrive in Kathmandu. Relax or go for last-minute shopping.
