Day 1: Arrival in Bodhgaya – Where Enlightenment Begins
Welcome to Bodhgaya – the place where Prince Siddhartha became the Buddha. Our warm team will be ready to greet you at the airport or railway station with a smile and some peaceful vibes.
After checking into your hotel and freshening up, the journey begins.
First things first, we will visit the Mahabodhi Temple! The holy place where Buddha got enlightenment under the Bodhi Tree. The second one is the peaceful Sujata Stupa — built in honor of the woman who offered food to Buddha before his awakening.
The next place on your list is the massive Great Buddha Statue! A calm and amazing sight. If time allows, we will explore nearby Dungeshwari Cave, where Buddha meditated before coming to Bodhgaya.
The meaningful day one ends here! Return to your hotel for dinner and peaceful rest.
Day 2: Bodhgaya to Rajgir & Nalanda – Ancient Wisdom Trail
After breakfast, we will travel to Rajgir! A beautiful valley town surrounded by hills. Here, we'll hike or ride a ropeway up to Vulture Peak — a place where Buddha gave many important teachings.
Next stop: The serene Venuvan (Bamboo Grove)! It was once gifted to Buddha for meditation. Then comes Bhimbisar’s Jail, tied to stories from Buddha's life.
The next place we will visit is Nalanda, home of the ancient Nalanda University — once a global center of learning and spirituality. Explore its ruins and imagine the life of monks and scholars.
Return to Bodhgaya in the evening and rest well.
Day 3: Bodhgaya to Vaishali & Kushinagar – From Teachings to Peace
Start early as we drive to Vaishali! It is the place where Buddha gave his last sermon. You'll visit the Ashoka Pillar and sacred ponds that resonate with history.
Now, we will travel to Kushinagar — the place where Buddha attained Mahaparinirvana (his final liberation). Visit the peaceful Mahaparinirvana Temple and Ramabhar Stupa, where Buddha’s body was cremated.
It's a hectic day filled with quiet reflection! Stay overnight in Kushinagar.
Day 4: Kushinagar to Lumbini – From Nirvana to the Beginning
After breakfast, we visit a few final sites in Kushinagar before crossing the border into Nepal to reach Lumbini — the very place where Buddha was born.
The next place is the Maya Devi Temple! It marks the exact spot of his birth, and you'll see the Ashoka Pillar placed here to honor it. Walk the peaceful gardens and monasteries built by Buddhist communities from around the world.
Stay overnight in Lumbini — under the same skies where the Buddha first opened his eyes.
Day 5: Lumbini to Shravasti – From Childhood to Teachings
In the morning, after a hearty breakfast, we leave Lumbini and travel to Shravasti — a town closely connected to Buddha's later life.
Shravasti was where Buddha spent 24 rainy seasons, teaching the Dhamma and living among his followers. We'll visit:
• Jetavana Monastery
• Ananda Bodhi Tree
• Angulimala Stupa
These places have deep stories of compassion and transformation.
Return to your hotel in Shravasti for dinner and rest.
Day 6: Shravasti to Varanasi – Spirit by the Sacred River
Breakfast done? We will make our way to Varanasi — one of the oldest living cities in the world. After check-in and a short break, the evening brings something memorable.
We head to Dashashwamedh Ghat for the Ganga Aarti — a mesmerizing ritual of fire, chants, and devotion. Watching it from a boat on the river adds even more magic.
Return to your hotel with the sacred energy of the Ganges in your heart.
Day 7: Varanasi to Bodhgaya – Teachings, Sunrise & Full Circle
Rise early because we will go for a sunrise boat ride on the Ganges — the place where the city awakens with chants and morning light.
Next, we visit Sarnath — the sacred site where Buddha gave his first sermon after enlightenment.
Before returning to Bodhgaya, we will visit:
• Dhamekh Stupa
• Chaukhandi Stupa
• Sarnath Museum
It will make your journey come full circle.
Enjoy your final evening with quiet reflection or a calm walk near the Bodhi Tree.
Day 8: Farewell from Gaya – With Peace in Your Heart
After breakfast, transfer to Gaya Airport or Railway Station. You arrived as a traveler, but leave as a pilgrim — carrying memories of sacred places, timeless teachings, and deep peace.
Safe travels and heartfelt farewell from Bodhgaya.
