The Khudi Khola dam, which has been constructed on the western stream of this lake, controls the water levels. It is the primary source of irrigation in every season, excluding monsoons. The swamps around the Begnas Tall have been changed into dense green paddy fields, while some portions of the lake are utilized for fish farming. All in all, this lake plays an important role in generating income for the local people.

Gupteshwar Mahadev is a cave temple situated near Davis Falls. This is the spot where the Seti River appears from the ground. Here, one can witness the self-appearing Shivaling in the condition it was originally found in, and the cave comprising this Shivaling is approximately 3 km long.

Also popular as Chamere Gufa, the Bat Cave is a karst cave situated in the Kaski District of Pokhara. As you can take the idea from the name, thousands of bats can be seen hanging upside down from the ceiling and walls inside the dark and damp chambers of this cave. This cave is popular for being the abode of horseshoe bats and has become one of the most visited tourist spots in Pokhara, Nepal.

One can explore this cave by paying a charge of 150 Nepalese Rupees. At the initial point, a torch is provided to the visitors, and by making use of the torch, they can make their way into the cave. It requires around 10 minutes to reach the exit point.
